Professor Basema Saddik is a public health and epidemiology expert at the College of Medicine, University of Sharjah and the Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of NSW, Australia. She chairs the Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit at the University of Sharjah and is the Coordinator of the “Clinical Epidemiology Research Group”.
Prof. Saddik’s research work spans multiple countries, including Australia, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and the UAE and has been recognized among the top 2% of global researchers by Stanford University.
Prof. Saddik’s expertise lies in investigating the burden of disease in vulnerable groups, highlighting health disparities and advocating for equitable healthcare practices.
