As a distinguished Professor of Forensic Medicine and an accomplished medical educator with over 25 years of experience, I hold an MBBCh, MSc, MD, and a Master’s in Health Professions Education (MHPE), reflecting a robust foundation in both clinical practice and educational leadership. I am a Senior Fellow of Advance HE, a Fellow of the Karolinska Institute Prize for Research in Medical Education, and a Fellow of the FAIMER Institute in Philadelphia, highlighting my commitment to advancing medical education globally.

My leadership roles have included serving as Head of Quality Assurance, Associate Dean, and Dean for Education, where I led transformative initiatives in curriculum development, quality assurance, and accreditation. I have spearheaded institutional reforms to align medical programs with international accreditation standards, such as those of the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) and the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).

With a focus on innovation, inclusivity, and stakeholder engagement, I have designed and implemented curricula that integrate emerging technologies and foster excellence in programmatic assessment. My contributions extend to developing regional and international collaborations, enhancing institutional performance, and empowering faculty to adopt evidence-based teaching practices. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a passion for shaping future healthcare professionals and advancing medical education within diverse and dynamic academic environments.
