Li is a first-year PhD student at the University of Tokyo. Her research focuses on STEM and gender, science communication, and science education. She is particularly interested in the phenomenon where Asian women, especially Japanese women, often excel in mathematics but are less likely to pursue careers or studies in STEM fields, which is the focus of her current research.
