Professor Sima A.Hamadeh is the Head of Nutrition Department at Haigazian University, a senior lecturer in the Nutrition Master programs at USJ-Lebanon. She is the Editor-in-Chief for the “Global Smart Food Systems (GSFS)”– a Gold Open Access Scientific Journal by Emerald Publishing-UK. Besides, she is the Governing Council for the Food and Nutrition Section at the American Public Health Association “APHA”-USA. Prof. Hamadeh is a Communication and Marketing Mentor for the Society of Health & Physical Educators “SHAPE”-USA, and a Mentor in the APHA for health promotion/communication/policies.
In 2023, she was appointed as the Science Curator by TED team in US and TED in Arabic team for TiA 2024. In 2025, she joined the UNESCO-GCC & Yemen as a consultant, developer and moderator of the Media, Information Literacy, and AI initiative & talks for their annual MIL week.
She was honored and awarded special prizes for her outstanding papers and talks in several countries.
