Saad is the Co-founder and CEO of SciComm X, an all-in-one science media and communication consultancy firm. He is a science editor and a science communication consultant.
Before founding SciComm X, Saad worked as Editor in Chief of the Arabic version of Popular Science Magazine, where he led the magazine and doubled the number of readers 10X in one year.
Saad worked as a science reporter for many prestigious regional and international outlets, including Scientific American, SciDev.Net, HuffPost, Altaqadom Alelmy Kuwait, Arageek, Al Araby, and many others.
Saad is the co-founder of leading SciComm initiatives, including the global Science Journalism Forum, which is the largest virtual event for science journalists; the Arab Forum of Science Media and Communication, which brings together over 500 science journalists and communicators from the Arab countries; Arab Science Week which is the largest celebration of science and technology in the Arab region with over 30,000 attendees; and Scientific Arab a digital magazine that communicates science and technology to the Arab public audiences.
