Contribute your ideas by submitting a session or a paper proposal to the Arab Forum of Science Media and Communication (AFSMC-PCST 2026)!

The Arab Forum of Science Media and Communication is back for its sixth edition, in collaboration with global partners, to bring you an exceptional experience in the start of 2026, hosted in the United Arab Emirates. This year’s theme, “Teaching, Research, and Practice,” will explore how these pillars can collectively advance science communication in the MENA region and beyond.

This edition offers a blend of in-person and online experiences, including dynamic workshops, insightful panel discussions, and valuable networking opportunities. The forum is designed to equip researchers, science communication professionals, outreach managers, and practitioners with essential tools and strategies to expand their reach and influence.

Call for Proposals

AFSMC-PCST 2026 invites contributions from practitioners, academics, and researchers alike. Submissions may include:

  • Session Proposals: Interactive workshops, roundtables, or panel discussions exploring innovative strategies and practices in teaching, research, and practice within science communication.
  • Papers: Technical, conceptual, or theoretical papers (published or in-progress) addressing the intersection of teaching, research, and practice in advancing science communication.

We are looking for creative ideas, impactful research, and innovative methods that align with the forum’s mission to enhance science communication and collaboration.

Submit early to secure your spot! Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and submissions will close once all slots are filled. Notifications of acceptance will be sent after committee review.
