Advancing Science Media and Communication in the MENA Region through Collective Efforts!

The Arab Forum of Science Media and Communication is back in collaboration with the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates to bring you an exceptional experience from January 27th to 28th, 2025. Our theme for this edition is “Pursuit of Effectiveness,” and we have lined up an exciting array of workshops and activities, both virtually and In-person, that aim at equipping researchers, science communication officers, outreach managers, and practitioners with the essential skills and strategies to maximize their reach and influence.

In its fifth edition, AFSMC invites proposals from practitioners, as well as from academia and researchers. Submissions may include technical, conceptual, and theoretical papers (whether published or in progress) that align with this year’s theme.

Submit early to maximize your chances! We review applications on a rolling basis and will stop accepting once all spots are filled. We’ll inform you of the content committee’s decision once the review is done. We can’t wait to hear from you!
