Dina Farouk Abou Zeid

Dina Farouk Abou Zeid is the Dean of the Mass Communication Faculty at October 6 University and a professor in the Mass Communication Department at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, Egypt. She earned her BA (1996) and MA (2001) in Mass Communication from the American University in Cairo. She received her PhD (2007) with honors from the Mass Communication Department at Ain Shams University. Abou Zeid is the author of Television Presenter’s Skills and has supervised numerous MA and PhD theses. She served as the head of the Social Studies and Futuristic Studies Branch at the Middle Egypt Studies Center, Ain Shams University, from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, she has worked as a television presenter for Egyptian Television and as a reporter in the News Sector of the Egyptian Radio and Television Union.
